Work Experience
Some things cannot be taught; they must be experienced
Work experience placements are an opportunity for the Trust to showcase our fantastic work and inspire young people to consider a career in the NHS particularly the UHD Family.
We currently offer
- Work experience in clinical and non-clinical areas, for year 12 Pupils and above
- Special Work placement for college students studying a related course
- Visits and experience for any interested in a career change
Please be advised that all requests will be considered via a competitive selection process, and due to experiencing large volumes of requests unfortunately will not be able to accommodate them all.
Please note, we require an 8 week notice before your preferred start date, and this should inform your decision.
There might be age restrictions in certain departments, so please confirm your preferred option does not state 18+.
