About Dr Shortland

Dr David Shortland trained at Bristol, Great Ormond Street and Nottingham Hospitals, and was credited in general paediatrics and neonatology. He was neonatal clinical lead for 10 years and clinical director for 15 years.

Currently general paediatrician at Poole Hospital, Dr Shortland is also vice-president for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
