I graduated from Imperial College London in 2004 with distinction.

I completed my Gastroenterology training in Wessex & undertook an advanced specialist Hepatology fellowship at University Hospital Southampton gaining liver transplant experience at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. In addition to Hepatology I have a subspecialist interest in Pancreatology having completed the European Pancreas 2000 program & gained a Diploma in Pancreatology.

During my post graduate training I was awarded an MRC Fellowship & completed a PhD investigating mechanisms of invasion in Pancreatic Cancer. I was subsequently appointed as an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer where I continued my research in Pancreatic adenocarcinomas in addition to Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours alongside my clinical training. I have published my research in peer reviewed journals.

I returned to full-time clinical practice in 2018 & was appointed as a Consultant Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist at Bournemouth Hospital in 2019.

Deranged LFTs, jaundice, cirrhosis, fatty liver, autoimmune & metabolic liver conditions, viral hepatitis, hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic conditions, neuroendocrine tumours as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

I love the variety of conditions, range of clinical presentations & diagnostic challenges seen in Hepatology.
