Why I chose my specialties
Interventional radiology is one of the most rapidly developing and exciting specialities which reaches into all areas of medicine. IR is minimally invasive, can usually be done under local anaesthetic, has quick recovery times, and reduced time in hospital. By working with many different specialities, I get to do a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with many different colleagues throughout the hospital.
