About Dr Kent

Mike trained at Guy's King's and St Thomas' Medical School, qualifying in 2004. He completed his orthopaedic training in Wessex, gaining his CCT in 2015. He undertook post CCT fellowship training in Perth and Fremantle, Western Australia and Southampton , developing subspecialty interests in: - Primary and Revision arthroplasty surgery - Hip Trauma - Periprosthetic Fractures - Enhanced Recovery He worked as a consultant at Torbay Hospital in Devon for 5 years, where he developed a successful day case hip replacement pathway, being the first surgeon in the South West to undertake a day case hip in 2018. He moved back to Wessex in 2021 to work with the hip and trauma teams at UHD.
