Dr Tuhey completed her undergraduate medical training at University of Leeds in 2010, including an intercalated BSc in Human Physiology. She spent her Foundation and Core Medical Training at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

Her registrar years encompassed placements across the Wessex Deanery including both RBCH and Poole, as well as community services. She joins Older People's Services at UHD in June 2021 as a substantive Consultant in Geriatric Medicine.

Dr Tuhey is passionate about the holistic care of older patients living with frailty and developing services across Dorset to deliver this.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her young family, running and cycling.
