Dr Naeem Ahmed was appointed as a consultant in anaesthesia and pain medicine at Poole Hospital in May 2008.

He undertook his higher training in Oxford and a clinical fellowship in pain medicine at St Mary’s Hospital in London.

He is the clinical lead for acute pain at Poole Hospital. His specialist interests include spinal and cancer pain management.
