About Dr Dorman
After training at Charing Cross, Dr Dormon entered anaesthetic training in London, working at the Hammersmith Hospital, Great Ormond Street and UCH.
Her first consultant post was at Lister, Stevenage, where she was director of intensive care and developed a paediatric plastic surgery service.
After moving to Poole she continued with her ICU and paediatric interests and now is medical lead for the Poole Africa Link. Dr Dormon is a key member of the Poole Africa Link, which fosters educational relationships between Poole Hosptial and Wau Hospital, in South Sudan, developing services and undertaking humanitarian projects.
