About Dr Jackson

Following clinical training in Oxford, Dr Jackson has worked in emergency medicine, paediatrics and subsequently specialised in anesthesia, undergoing higher specialist training in the Wessex Region and Australia.

He was appointed to a substantive consultant post in 2007. Having developed Poole Hospital day surgery unit, he has undertaken leadership roles including lead for day surgery and was clinical director of anaesthetics and critical care until recently, as he has now undertaken the role of trust lead for mortality.
