About Dr Wise

Dr Wise was appointed as a consultant at Poole Hospital in 2005. Dr Wise regularly provides anaesthesia for general surgery, day case surgery, gynaecological surgery at Poole and ophthalmic surgery at Royal Bournemouth hospitals, and is the anaesthesia lead for electroconvulsive therapy at St Ann’s.

Dr Wise regularly provides and co-ordinates anaesthesia for emergencies, both on-call and as part of regular commitments as a 'named consultant' within the theatre suites at Poole Hospital.
