About Dr Jack
Dr Jack trained at Cambridge and London. He worked as a consultant in North Tyneside and honorary lecturer at the University of Newcastle before moving to the Dorset Cancer Centre in Poole as a consultant haematologist in 2001.
At Poole he is currently the Director for stem cell transplantation and the Clinical Director for Pathology. He is accredited as a JACIE inspector for transplant laboratories in the UK and Europe.
Education and Research
Dr Jack was a Leukaemia Research Fund Clinical Fellow in Newcastle, where he completed his MD thesis in Hodgkin’s disease. He previously worked on the Editorial Board of Lab Tests Online UK and organised the regional haematology registrars’ educational program. Currently he teaches medical students as an Associate Professor at St George’s International School of Medicine.
He is the principal investigator in a number of NCRI trials and has contributed to publications in peer-reviewed Journals including:
