Management of women with all types of gynaecological cancer.
Specialises in complex radical surgery for advanced and recurrent ovarian and peritoneal cancer. He is also an expert in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery for cervical and endometrial cancer, as well as in fertility sparing and more conservative surgical options for cervical cancer, like trachelectomies.
Education and Training
Mr Biliatis graduated from National University of Athens in 2003. He underwent his postgraduate medical training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Alexandra Teaching Hospital, in Athens.
Following this, he completed three years of fellowship in gynaecological oncology at Northern Gynaecological Oncology Centre, Gateshead followed by advanced subspecialty training in gynaecological oncology at The Royal Marsden Hospital and St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London.
Mr Biliatis has been working as a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist in Poole Hospital, since June 2016.
Publications
Mr. Biliatis has been actively involved in research in the field of Gynaecological Oncology and has published papers in respected scientific journals including editorials for the British Medical Journal. A list of his publications can be found here.
