Mr Hillard has retired from Obstetrics and Urogynaecology and now runs the Specialist Menopause Clinic in UHD which is part of the Harbourside Gynaecology Unit on the Poole Hospital site.

About Mr Hillard

Qualified from Southampton University (1982) and undertook his postgraduate training in Wessex and King’s College Hospital, London where he developed speciality interests in Menopause and urogynaecology. Appointed consultant in Poole in 1994. He has previously been clinical director and associate medical director.

Nationally he has been active with the NHS, RCOG and specialist societies. Past chairman and current board member of British Menopause Society (BMS); past chairman of NHS England Women’s Health Patient Safety Expert Group (PSEG); past RCOG lead for clinical safety; current Board member of the European Menopause Society (EMAS) and is Editor-in-Chief of the Climacteric Journal.
