About Miss Innamaa

Miss Innamaa completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in Nottingham in 2010, following which she completed a two year sub-speciality training programme in Gynaecological Oncology in Sheffield. This included a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) at the University of Nottingham for research in ovarian cancer.

Miss Innamaa currently works as a Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and also runs an outpatient clinic at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Her work focuses on the surgical treatment of women with gynaecological cancer and management of gynaecological pre-cancers. In addition, she sees women with complex benign conditions requiring specialist gynaecological surgical input and has a specialist interest in vulval skin conditions. Miss Innamaa was Network Lead for Gynaecology between 2016-2019 and Gynaecological Cancer MDT Lead between 2019-2021. Miss Innamaa is a member of the British Gynaecological Cancer Society (BGCS), British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) and British and Irish Association of Robotic Gynaecologists (BIARGS).
