About >Mr Atul Kusanale

Mr Atul Kusanale is a consultant head, neck & reconstructive surgeon within the oral and maxillofacial surgery department. He is registered as a specialist oral and maxillofacial surgeon with the GMC and the GDC register. He qualified in dentistry from the Government Dental College in Mumbai and following this he graduated in Medicine from St Georges University of London in 2006. Mr Kusanale was ranked first in the national selection for the Head and Neck Interface Fellowship which is regulated by the Joint Committee of Surgical Training. As a result he has gained experience in ENT and plastic surgery as well. He completed his training at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow. He currently leads the Dorset Head and Neck cancer group .He is involved in teaching allied health staff, medical students, and trainees. Atul is keen on cricket and enjoys travel and has an interest in wildlife conservation. He enjoys running, music and staying updated with current events.
