Free health information event in Swanage

Health partners from across Dorset are coming together on Thursday (29 June) between 10am and 4pm at the Mowlem Theatre in Swanage at the Dorset health information event.

Organisations from Our Dorset will share plans and updates about local changes to the NHS with visitors and answer questions that arise.

University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) will provide updates on how the new BEACH Building at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital site is progressing as well as the recently completed theatres at Poole Hospital. Dorset County Hospital (DCH) will share plans on its exciting developments of its emergency department and discharge lounge plans at DCH and the outpatient assessment centre at South Walks House in Dorchester.

Dorset HealthCare (DHC), NHS Dorset, Live Well Dorset and Healthwatch will also be at the event. These exhibitors will be offering covid booster vaccines, health checks (eligibility criteria for both of these applies) and other health information covering areas including NHS 111 and minor injury units.

Entry to the event is free and open to everyone.
