Judy Gillow appointed Chair of UHD

Judy Gillow has been appointed Interim Chair of University Hospitals Dorset for a year. She starts this role from today, Thursday 1 May. Rob Whiteman stepped down from the role at the end of March.

Judy has been a non-executive director of UHD since April 2023 and has been Chair of our Audit Committee. A nurse by background, she has had a varied career across the NHS and has worked in a range of clinical settings in acute, community, primary care and education. Roles have included director of nursing and organisational development at University Hospitals Southampton and she has also been a non-executive director at Dorset County Hospital.
