CQC inspection of our outpatient services

The CQC today publishes results of their inspection in June of our outpatient services at Poole Hospital and the Outpatient Assessment Clinic in Beales, in the Dolphin Centre in Poole. The CQC has shared their findings with us and we look forward to welcoming them back to show them further improvements. We were not rated from this inspection, so keep our previous ratings.

Professor Paula Shobbrook, UHD chief nursing officer, said: “We welcomed the CQC inspection of our outpatient services and their feedback. Waiting times have been a major focus for our Trust as we know the impact that delays can have on our patients. The CQC inspected our Outpatient Assessment Clinic in the Dolphin Centre in Poole that was set up to improve waiting times and lessen the pressures on our main hospital sites. This is just part of the work we are doing to help address the problem of waiting times. As the CQC reported, we are only going to solve these problems by continuing to work closely with our partners across Dorset.”
