Older people's services
Older people's services at Poole Hospital provide care to acutely ill patients who are generally over the age of 75.
We provide specialist services for patients who have had a stroke, have Parkinson's Disease or need special investigations of falls, as well as general care for a broad range of medical conditions.
Falls prevention
In Dorset, there are over 200,000 over 65s, which means that more than 60,000 people are likely to fall each year.
