Our trust values
University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust

B2 is a 23-bedded Gynaecology and Colorectal Ward, taking patients from 16 years upwards. The Nurses work in two teams. Each team has a seperate Nurses station.

Ward Sisters: Zoe Bagg

We practice the enhanced recovery programme, which ensures patients are optimised for their procedure, reducing complications following surgery and the length of time spent in hospital.

The ward has a breakfast room overlooking Poole Park and harbour.

We encourage our patients to mobilise early, to enhance patient recovery.

Please feel free to help yourself to hot drinks in between Housekeeper drinks rounds.

Useful ward information:

  • Mobile phones are permitted - patients are asked to respect the privacy of others at all times (please do not use any camera facility your phone may have).
