E1 (Elmwood)
Childrens Assessment Unit (formally Elmwood [E1]) ward is part of the children's unit and specialises in caring for your younger patients who need to spend one or more nights in hopsital.

The Childrens Assessment Unit offers a play room with outside play area, and a kitchen for use by parents.
Useful ward information:
- Mobile phone use is permitted
- Flowers are not permitted.
- Accommodation for carers or family members to stay

Visiting:2-4pm and 6-8pm
Parents may visit at anytime. Please note that visiting is restricted to two visitors per patient at a time.
Please do not visit if you have had any diarrhoea or sickness in the last 72 hours, or have cough/cold symptoms.
How to find us:From the dome entrance,turn right then first left, up to level one.
From the Longfleet Road entrance, go straight ahead along the main corridor, follow signs to children's unit on level one.
