Welcome to the Sandbourne Suite, we look after day case orthopaedic, general surgery, vascular, breast and pain patients. We are also an admission suite for elective (planned) surgery.

Meal times
There are no specific visiting or meal times as patients attend the Sandbourne Suite at different times of the day. Patients are offered meals when they arrive at the suite after their operation and visitors are allowed into the post-operative bays for a very brief moment once cleared with the nurse coordinator. Patients’ average length of stay is usually between 1- 4 hours so visiting times are not required. If individual patients require input from an interpreter, this can be facilitated.
