Why and how do I authenticate my shared trips?

Authenticating the trip allows the Trust to track the carbon and emissions savings being made by Liftsharing.
Authentication also activates your parking permit to be valid that day for one vehicle in the team. The permit gives access to the dedicated Liftshare parking bays.
Authenticate your Liftshare
At the pickup point of your journey select the 'Authenticate' button and select if you are a driver or a passenger
Every day you authenticate your Liftshare via the app you will have access to the Priority Liftshare parking bays.
Please note authenticating your Liftshare ensures you have access to park in the dedicated Liftshare bays and to utilise the Guaranteed Ride Home benefits.
