The aim of clinical audit is to measure and improve the quality of care and services we provide.
Clinical Audit measures current practice against best practice and addresses any shortfalls. Clinical audits are undertaken throughout the Trust, measuring performance against local and national evidence-based standards, and implementing change when necessary. As a patient you are unlikely to come into direct contact with a member of the clinical audit team, although you may be asked to complete surveys or questionnaires that we have helped to plan and develop.
