First patients cared for in our BEACH Building

Congratulations to our Radiology Team who saw our first patients in the BEACH Building today! This is an incredible milestone towards Royal Bournemouth Hospital becoming the major emergency hospital for east Dorset.

From today, CT and X-ray services for RBH Emergency Department and some inpatients will move to the new facilities in the BEACH Building. This is in advance of Critical Care and Maternity moving in later this month.

Thanks to all Radiology Team colleagues who have worked so hard in advance of today’s move, and to everyone else who has been involved in the BEACH Building. After so many years of planning and hard work, today is a day to be very proud of all that we have achieved as a Trust #TeamUHD.
