Have a go at learning some key phrases in British Sign Language (BSL) in our sign language workshop. UHD nurse, Annabel Young, along with her little helper, will show you how to sign some key phrases. The investment is part of a reorganisation of NHS services across Dorset which will see Poole Hospital become the main centre for planned treatment in east Dorset, with the Royal Bournemouth Hospital becoming the centre for emergency care.
University Hospitals Dorset is developing plans with partners across Dorset to run outpatient appointments in a completely different way, taking over the top floor of Beales department store in the Dolphin Centre in Poole. BBC South Today reporter, Alastair Fee, visited the store to talk through the plans and met hospital clinicians to discuss the need to 'Thing Big' to tackle the growing waiting lists following many cancellations because of the Covid pandemic.
