Volunteers

A team of volunteers support our work both on and off site. Roles vary depending on the needs of the patient and include volunteer drivers, admin support, charity shop, ward support, Day Centre activities, gardening, community visiting and also help with fundraising.

The Macmillan unit are also grateful for the support of other charities such as Caring Canines, who bring in their pets as therapy dogs to visit patients.
