About us

The Bournemouth Diabetes and Endocrine Centre is based within the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. We are situated close to the seaside and the New Forest. We provide endocrine treatment for patients in Bournemouth, part of the New Forest and Lymington.

The Endocrine Centre is a specialist centre for endocrinology and has an excellent reputation. We run many specialist clinics many of which are unique to the Dorset wide region.

Endocrinology is a broad speciality, and most of the endocrine consultants have areas of specialist interest. We work closely with our colleagues when managing our endocrine patients and consequently run multiple multi-disciplinary meetings (MDT) throughout the month where consultants from different fields come together to discuss the best treatment for our patients. Many of these meetings are attended by radiologists, biochemists, surgeons and endocrinologists.
