There are a range of facilities available for you to use

Boots pharmacy

Boots pharmacy is available at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital for inpatients and outpatients with a hospital prescription. It also sells a range of over the counter medicine. Unfortunately it is unable to deal with prescriptions from the general public. Boots also sells a range of sandwiches, snacks and cold drinks. Click here for further information and opening times. 

Restaurants and Cafes

There are a variety of restaurants and coffee shops that you can visit while you are at hospital, offering a selection of hot and cold food and beverages. Please note, all our retail catering facilities at Royal Bournemouth. Christchurch and Poole are cashless, with no minimum spend on transactions.

Atrium Café

Based in the main atrium at Royal Bournemouth, the café provides a range of hot and cold drinks alongside a selection of snacks, with all profits reinvested in patient care. The café has a new layout and menu, including a wide selection of gluten free and vegan products.

Café West

Café West is open from 7.30am till 6pm, Monday to Friday (closed bank holidays), and is our Barista Bar located at the west entrance, offering LAVAZZA coffee, hot chocolate, a selection of Dorset Tea’s, milkshakes and soft drinks. There is a wide variety of sandwiches, hot snacks, bakes and cakes available too, as well as vending facilities for purchases of ‘heat me’ products and cold drinks throughout the night.

Chapel
