Hello and welcome to University Hospitals Dorset Foundation Trust. We are delighted you have chosen to join us and please look at the welcome from our Chief Executive. We have been asked to invite you to a virtual Trust induction as this fits better with when you can join UHD.

We would ask that you complete this part of the Trust Induction through this special web page instead of coming into our Lecture theatre.

Most of your Mandatory Training is covered on our e learning BEAT VLE system and you will receive a separate email explaining how you can access this eLearning system with your personal login. Any face to face courses you may be required to do because of your job role, will be evident on this BEAT VLE system, which you can book once you are in your ward or department.

We would ask that you view the information below and arrive for any further face to face training, if appropriate,  that you will have been alerted to in your personal Trust induction e mail.

UHD volunteers induction

Hello and welcome to University Hospitals Dorset Foundation Trust, we are delighted you have chosen to join us as a volunteer. As part of your welcome to our trust we would ask that you use this page as your induction to the organisation in terms of general information but also as a way to have the right training for your role with us.

Our chief executive is keen to make sure all staff, employed and volunteers are welcomed to UHD, please see the message below as part of that welcome. In an attempt to provide induction training in ways that are useful to our volunteers, you can complete your induction to UHD through this special web page instead of coming in to our lecture theatre for a face to face training day.

Your mandatory training is covered on this bespoke page which we ask you to read through before you come to the hospital site you will be based on. Your safety is paramount while you are with us on any of our hospital sites. We would ask that you read through the information about each topic in a quiet space so you can concentrate on the important information contained in each topic. Here at UHD we value our staff and your wellbeing is very important to us and we offer a number of places for staff to access support through our occupational health department which is based on both the Royal Bournemouth and Poole hospital sites.
