The Eye Unit diagnoses and treats a wide range of eye conditions:
- Age Related Macular Degeneration
- Cataract
- Corneal conditions – such as Keratoconus, Pterygium and Corneal grafts
- Glaucoma
- Neuro-Ophthalmology – problems with the optic nerve, pupils or eye problems associated with neurological conditions such as stroke or multiple sclerosis
- Ocular Motility – such as squint, eye movement problems and double vision
- Oculoplastics – treatments of conditions relating to eyelids, eye socket (orbit) and tear ducts
- Retinal conditions – including retinal detachment, vitrectomy and diabetic retinopathy
