Welcome to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU), we specialise in the care of patients with acute cardiac disorders requiring close monitoring and support. We also provide a gold-standard emergency intervention service for patients experiencing a heart attack.
We have set visiting times to allow us to provide care and for our patients to rest. Please call our switchboard on 01202 3036262 to find out the most up to-date visiting times.
Our meal times are 12-1pm and 5-6pm. If you would like someone visiting to support you during meal times, please discuss this with the nurse in charge.
If you would like to see how we are performing as a ward, you can do so here.
Welcome to the Acute Medical Unit. We look after patients who are admitted for urgent investigation or care by their GP, an outpatient clinic, or the Emergency Department.
As a team, we are led by Tash Kelly, Gemma Bishop, and James Glen, who are supported by an experienced team of deputy sisters and charge nurses.
Visiting hours: Please see Trust Visitors Charter here

Please ring the hospital switchboard on 01202 303626 in the first instance to check where your relative or friend is located within the hospital, as patients often move out of AMU relatively quickly.
