Eye Ward and Day Surgery Unit

Situated on the First Floor, The Eye Ward is a 16 bedded ward, comprising of 2 inpatient adult bays, 2 single rooms and a dedicated paediatric bay. Visiting times are 2-5 pm. At all other times, please organise with the nurse in charge.
The Eye Day Surgical Unit (EDSU) is a stand-alone unit separate from the Eye Ward. This Unit is for ophthalmology patients who do not need to stay in hospital overnight following their procedure. Your surgery may be scheduled for the morning or afternoon session.
