Staff Networks - International Doctors’ Support Initiative
Welcome to the International Doctors' Support Initiative (IDSI)
Settling into a new country and a new way of working can be hard. We’re here to make that journey a little easier!
IDSI aims to welcome our international medical graduates and help them settle in to life in the UK and work for the NHS.
We offer practical information and advice to help you become familiar with hospital processes and policies. We also provide a friendly face to discuss your worries and sign post to the correct individual to help sort out your problems.
From understanding how to do a ward round to finding familiar food, understanding the bus network or how to get work related refunds – we're here to help.
Come and meet us
We meet on the first Monday of every month in the Education Centre at 1pm. Exact dates and times are posted on our WhatsApp group, which you're free to join.
