MS Coordinator

In relation to patients, the MS Coordinator is responsible for:

• Managing new referrals
• Coordinating the newly diagnosed pathway
• Coordinating patients through their Disease Modifying Drug journey, including new to treatment, those transferred into area, and those needing to switch treatment
• Coordinating all patient appointments
• Coordinating drug safety monitoring for patients established on treatment with a disease modifying drug (DMD)
• Managing transfer of care for patients moving out of area and conducting our discharge process

The MS Coordinator also has several work-streams which are not related to patients.
